This is a Historic Preservation Tax Credit Renovation and Adaptive Reuse of a 50,000 sf 4 story former headquarters of the Baptist Convention. The Baptist building was originally constructed in 1949 and underwent an major expansion in 1967. It is undergoing a complete replacement of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and technology systems, in addition to rehabilitation of all of the character-defining spaces such as Lobby, elevators and remaining historic office finishes form the 1949 construction. The facility will now be fully compliant withthe ADA, and is ready for another 75 years of use as a Class A office spaces, while preserving the beaufifull original art deco features.
