Anishinabe Design
Cheryl Lockstone, a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, and her partner Barrett Williamson formed Anishinabe Design in 2008 and are celebrating over 10 years working with Native American governments and institutions to bring conscientious, relevant design to the Native American communities they serve. Our goal is to celebrate each Tribal culture as appropriate, and let these unique aspects inform our design decisions so that our buildings represent the individual tribe, not a Hollywood version that stereotypes indigenous people.
